For Work to be generally constructed under applicable provisions of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted January 1, 2022 and the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois, 8th Edition, dated 2020.
Location 1 – Bratton Avenue at Rutland Street:
The work at this location consists of removing an existing headwall and installing 164 feet of storm sewer. The work also includes installation of one new manhole, connecting to existing storm structures at two locations, clearing, pavement removal and replacement, and related work.
Location 2 – Tower Circle Drive at 1016 & 1018:
The work at this location consists of installing 150 feet of storm sewer, one storm inlet, connection to the existing storm sewer system, restoration and seeding, and related work.

The City of Marseilles encourages minority business firms to submit Bids and the successful contract Bidder to use minority businesses as Subcontractors for suppliers, equipment, services and construction.
All Proposals must be submitted on forms supplied by the City of Marseilles and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Money Order, or Certified Check for not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid made payable to the City of Marseilles. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount.
Not less than the prevailing minimum rate of wages as found by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing Work under this Contract. The Contractor shall conform to the requirements of a “Responsible Bidder” as defined by City of Marseilles No. 922.
Rejection of Bids: The City of Marseilles reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all Proposals.
